Early this morning, when I woke up, I found the streets covered in snow. It felt like the perfect opportunity to take my new (or for some, already old) Insta360 X4 out for a walk.
I was hoping there wouldn’t be many people around, as I still feel a bit uneasy filming others. Luckily, I was right. The quiet streets allowed me to record some footage with very few people in sight. Since this was my first time using the camera, please excuse any visual imperfections—you could say it was a learning experience.
I really enjoyed walking through the snow. The silence, the slow pace, the way the city felt almost paused—it was calming. One lesson learned, though: next time I definitely need to find my gloves. Holding the camera with bare hands in the cold was not the best idea. A novice mistake, perhaps.
After filming, I stopped by a bakery to buy simit for breakfast and a chocolate cupcake for my little one. I’m hoping it will bring a big smile when it’s discovered. Our mom probably won’t approve of such a sugar-heavy treat—but maybe we can keep it our little secret.
Enjoy the silent snow.
